Subject: Fixes to Bosworth/Toller
OK, I finally got tired of getting the same bug report over and over (the one about search result entries being listed on the wrong page). At least for Bosworth/Toller, the problem should be (largely) fixed.
The problem was that the search system requires there to be an empty line between the end of a page and the following <PAGE> tag, but the web-based correction system didn't enforce this when folks uploaded their hand-corrected pages. When the empty line is missing, the search system doesn't "see" the <PAGE> marker, so it thinks that entries are on the wrong page. The fix was that I had to go in and fix every single page where the empty line was missing.
While I was at it, I also did the following:
-I checked the entities such as þ against the project list. I had to fix some bad entities in the text, and I had to add some new entities to the project list.
-I fixed a great many problems with the tags such as the bold and italic tags. There were unbalanced tags, tags in lowercase which needed to be changed to uppercase, and so on.
-Made various other global fixes having to do with spaces and linebreaks.
