Yeah, actually, that was my original intent when I wrote the system. What has ended up happening is that there are a lot of errors remaining after the hand corrections. It wasn't my original intent that the message board would be used to report those errors, but that's what it has come to be used for, because there's no other way to report them.

What I really want is a system which allows corrections to individual entries to be made on the web, Wiki-style. The interface would be designed in a way which would clearly distinguish the two types of errors (errors in original vs. errors in digitization).

I want to create this system, but the goal keeps pulling further away, for various reasons. We'll see.
