I'm afraid I've just further confirmed it. I had searched on "aðili" and the entry for the word does not come up, in addition to not being reachable via going to next entry from aðild. I just searched for aðilðar-maðr, the last boldfaced example in the aðild entry (thus in the right-column part of that entry), and I don't get any hits. Then I tried "previous entry" from abbadís, he first keyword in the left column. That took me to the top of the page, partway through the -A or -AT or -T entry, and "previous entry" from there brought me to the start of that entry. I checked and the ending of that text is the bottom of p. 2. So searches are indeed not finding items from that column, and if the software has stowed p. 3 column b somewhere unorthodox, it's not before page 3 column a.
What does the page-with-corrected text view show? Someone showed me how to get to that from the volunteers page but it is totally beyond me.
