Keith,

There is no table of abbreviations in the original printed book. I started making one; it contains most of the abbreviations, but every now and then one pops up which I missed. I didn't finish filling in all the columns for every abbreviation. You can find the table in the PDF version of the file.

I don't know the answer to your question about "part."; Torp hasn't told us. The best I can suggest is to search thru the text for that word and see how Torp appears to be using it. I know that's not much help.
