I checked my back emails, the European Gutenberg site, and Google. As far as I know, nobody else is working on Gallée's grammar. Thank you for working on it!

As for formatting standards: I wouldn't worry too much about the specifics. The single most important thing, which I say again and again, is never to collapse the contrast between any characters. For example, it would be a bad mistake to encode the þ character as th, since there would be no way for a program to tell which cases of th should really be th, and which should be converted to þ.

Beyond that, I think the second most important thing is to be consistent with whatever you do, so that someone else can easily convert your format to whatever it is they want to work with.
