Subject: Error report: Cleasby/Vigfusson, page b0137, entry 2
This is a margin comment on: Cleasby/Vigfusson, page b0137, entry 2
The entry for "F" lacks the blank separator line which should follow it, with the result that the entry for faðir is taken to be part of it - rather a basic word, which I hadn't expected to be unavailable from the search function. The page header for b0138 is tacked on to the end of b0137 without a line break (in the middle of the entry for faðir), so that entries from b0138 appear to come from b0137.
The entry for faðir continues to page b0138, but happens to begin with a bold word, so faðir-hirting shows up as a proper headword in search even though faðir does not. This is, however, probably normal for this stage of the project, since entries spanning page boundaries are not yet joined together.
Unfortunately, the pattern of missing blank lines continues, with the entry for faðma taken as part of föur-hirting. The whole of page b0138 is taken to be part of the spurious entry for föur-hirting - and the page header for b0139 is run into the end of the entry, just like the one for b0138 was.
The pattern seems to change after this; the falda that starts on b0139 appears correctly as an independent entry.
