NOTE.—i. Owing to the limited amount of Gothic which has come down to us, there is not a single verb extant in all its forms. Of most verbs only very few forms occur, and of many only one or two. The forms wanting in the paradigms of niman and háitan have been supplied from the extant forms of other verbs. The first pers. dual pret. subj. does not occur at all, either in strong or weak verbs, but it may be inferred to have been nēm-eiwa because of the corresponding present, nim-áiwa,
